  Rating 5 stars for the meal. Had the scotch fillet, with gravy, chips and salad. The steak was perfect, juicy tender, smoky and huge! Good chips, plenty of salad with a nice dressing. Lots of gravy on the steak. I was so engrossed in devouring my delicious meal u hardly noticed the decor. I sat on the sunny side of the bistro, and even on the cold day was lovely and warm with the sun coming through the window.

  I came here for dinner whilst staying in Longford for work. The previous night I tried the other pub down the road and I found the food here to be of a much higher quality. Not a huge range of beers on tap but enough.

  Anyhow, I must compliment the young lady chef, the meals were all terrific, hot and adequate quantity, no complaints at all, but I suggest to the Owner/Manager, if there is one, to sort the wine list and stock before summer trade arrives.

  The bargirl, who was very nice and polite bent under the bar and extracted two half empty reds and one full bottle, I then asked for a different variety, but told this is all we have in stock!!

  Just had a Sunday lunch in the restaurant for 11 people. I went to bar and asked for the wine list, but told there was not one, so I asked what wines they had in stock.
